Bentley Mulsanne Key Celebrates Its Centenary
Mulliner Bentley's bespoke coachbuilding unit, has designed a distinctive keycase to mark the 100th anniversary of the Bentley brand. Made from Dark Stained Walnut and Piano Black veneer, it includes a flying "B" paperweight, a set of keys, and a brochure with never-before-seen 1930 8 Litre images.

Aesthetics

Design

In celebration of its Centenary, Bentley introduced a specific specification that is called the Centenary Specification for cars that were built in 2019. Function

The key is constructed from vegetable tanned leather and takes over two days to craft each one. The key is cut by hand, shaped by hand, stitched and sealed, then polished to give a superior result. It is small and sturdy and matches the Bentley key perfectly. Its design is reminiscent of the Volkswagen Phaeton's large car key, yet it feels more substantial and premium.
It is also equipped with Secure-A-Key which can help prevent keyless entry theft. This device is inserted into the remote control fob, and then shuts it off if the key is not used for a few minutes. It stops thieves from transmitting the key's frequency to other devices that can be used to open and start the car.
Bentley's distinctive design reflects the company's values that include fine craftsmanship, engineering expertise and cutting-edge technology. Personalisation
Bentley's Mulliner division lets customers design their own vehicle. The "mood station" lets guests pick images that inspire them. They can range from scenic vistas and sporting events.
